Shells, or “Conchiglie” (the Italian word for “sea shells”) are medium-sized pasta in the form of conch shells with a ridged interior and smooth exterior. This traditional pasta pairs beautifully with almost all manner of sauces, is delicious in casseroles and a wonderful ingredient for cold pasta salads.
