Toplou Extra Virgin Olive Oil 750 ml

This extra virgin olive oil is from the ancient Toplou Monastery, located on the eastern end of the island of Crete, Greece. Toplou is one of the most significant monasteries in Greece and the largest on Crete, dating back to the 15th century.

The monastery has a network of olive groves, where they produce their own extra virgin olive oil. Monks at the monastery supervise the entire process from farming to bottling, producing this outstanding PDO extra virgin olive oil.

It is made 100% from the “Koroneiki” variety of olives. The olive trees are carefully cultivated during the year and all the olives have been harvested by hand, without any mechanical methods, crushed in the mill a few hours after harvesting. The extra virgin olive oil is separated by cold pressing, which ensures the oil has low acidity, a unique flavor and high in nutrients.
