Béchamel is a classic French sauce made with a roux of butter, flour and milk. Add cheese to the warm mixture and this rich, white sauce will reach even greater heights of savory deliciousness! At JOTIS, we’ve taken the hard work out of making a Béchamel sauce from scratch. Each package of our Béchamel Mix contains 3 sachets of dry ingredients. Add 6.25 cups of cold milk to the 3 sachets, blend with a hand mixer for 1-2 minutes, and “voilà!” – you’ll have the basis for a Béchamel that tastes homemade. Add melted butter, grated cheese, salt and pepper and JOTIS Béchamel Mix will add creamy richness to lasagnas, potato or veggie gratins and mac and cheese dishes!
