Why is LCBO on strike?
Ontario is witnessing a historic moment. The talks between the government and the Unition broke down, and the first time in the nearly 100-year history of Ontario Liquor Control Board (LCBO) its workers across the province went on strike on Friday. The LCBO strike involves about 9,000 worker, and according to Ontario Public Service Employees Union.
How long the LCBO strike will last?
The stores are expected to be closed for about two weeks which might result a dry summer for many. But it does not mean that you can not purchase your favourite beverages.
Where can you buy alcohol during the LCBO strike?

We do not need to stuck without our favourite wines or spirits during the strike. Those who live in the country-side can find hundreds of licensed private retailers – gas stations, supermarkets, corner stores – selling wine, beer and spirits.
